The West Michigan Environmental Action Council is a non-profit environmental education and advocacy group. A staff of 8 works alongside members and friends, and in unique partnership with government, business, academia and the faith community, to protect and enhance the environment of West Michigan. While the Council's efforts have a local focus, the Council also responds to broader state, national and global environmental issues of concern to its membership and community. Those on this listserv will receive weekly updates on current programs, pressing issues and upcoming events.
