"nacd-comm" provides an opportunity for members, advisors and participants of the Committee to communicate directly with each other through e-mail. The purpose is to provide a forum for the exchange of information on meetings, state and national developments with other members of the group. It enables the Committee and its advisors to discuss and develop ideas and issues between regular meetings of the Committee. List members will also be able to submit information requests to the list. For example, state, federal or regional advisors may wish input on local conservation district perspective that Committee members are uniquely positioned to provide. Conversely, Committee members may have a question for advisors and participants that stems from a local inquiry.

"nacd-comm" is a closed list. This means that only subscribers can post directly to the list. Non-member submissions are forwarded to the list owner for approval. Thus it is up to you to police yourself in the appropriate use of the list.

"nacd-comm" is managed by The Great Lakes Commission and hosted by the Great Lakes Information Network: http://www.great-lakes.net. Many thanks for their hospitality.
