Welcome to the glp-research listserv!

GLP-Research is a forum for the members of the Research Coordination Committee of the Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species to conduct business and share information.  Great Lakes Panel members wishing to stay informed and participate in activities of the Research Coordination Committee are encouraged to subscribe to this list. Appropriate postings for this list include communications from the Committee Chair or staff regarding the work of the Committee; updates regarding research activities related to the management of aquatic invasive species (AIS); and other relevant Great Lakes Panel business related to the Research Coordination Committee.

The Research Coordination Committee is one of three standing committees operating under the auspices of the Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species. The standing committees operate under the Great Lakes Panel to accomplish the Panel’s mission and to advance AIS priorities in discrete areas as identified by the Panel and/or by individual committees.  Other standing committees of the Panel include Information/Education and Policy Coordination.  Membership of the standing committees is open to all members of the Great Lakes Panel, including regular, alternates, and at-large members. Interested parties/observers are also
encouraged to participate in committee meetings and related discussions, whenever possible.

GLP-Research is a closed list. This means that only subscribers can post directly to the list.  Non-member submissions are forwarded to the list owner for approval. GLP-Research is managed by the Great Lakes Panel staff at the Great Lakes Commission.
