"gl-swcd" provides an opportunity for soil and water conservation
districts, land conservation departments and relevant state, federal and
regional agency personnel as well as other interested persons to
communicate on a variety of issues of interest to districts in the Great
Lakes basin. The purpose is to provide a forum for the exchange of
information on meetings and training
sessions; local, state and
national developments in soil and water conservation; emerging issues;
funding opportunities; and other items of interest. List members will be
able to post information requests on the variety of issues that face the
soil and water conservation community in the Great Lakes basin.
"gl-swcd" is a closed list. This means that only subscribers can post
directly to the list. Non-member submissions are forwarded to the list
owner for approval. Thus it is up to you to police yourself in the
appropriate use of the list.
"gl-swcd" is managed
by The Great Lakes Commission and hosted by the Great Lakes Information
Network:
