enviro-lakeerie - is a forum for sharing news of interest to the Lake Erie community. Appropriate postings concern the release of new reports, resource management policy issues, requests for proposals, federal budget updates, and announcements of regional conferences or special Great Lakes events.

The list also is used to share Lake Erie issues, to make announcements about data and information placed online by various organizations, researchers and interested parties.  The list is designed to reach a broad spectrum of interests in the Lake Erie region.

Information requests pertaining to Lake Erie or its management is also appropriate, as well as a shared discussion about Lake Erie its waters, fish, watersheds that are part of the Lake Erie ecosystem.  Replies are to the person generating the email and are not sent to the whole list.  To access the whole list and email must be sent to enviro-lakeerie. Other lists exist or will be created for people to discuss other Great Lakes and their issues. It's up to enviro-lakeerie users to be responsible in their use of this service.

enviro-lakeerie is a closed list. This means that only subscribers can post directly to the list. Non-member submissions are forwarded to the list owner for approval.
enviro-lakeerie is managed by the Western Lake Erie Waterkeeper.
